I consider Izabela a true wellness partner and teacher. She is a positive person whose mission is to guide her patients to a life of pain-free movement at any age. She sees. She examined my whole body, no matter what the complaint, to determine possible alignment irregularities, evidence of old injuries, and other barriers to well-being. In effect, she put the pieces of a body puzzle together to produce a positive outcome for me. She listens. This is a person who listened to me to understand both what was being said and what was not being said. As a patient, I felt she “got me.” She took into account my medical history as well as my current physical status as I perceived it, and formulated a plan that was unique to me. Hers was not a cookie-cutter approach nor was it rigid. Her treatment varied depending on the response of my body. She teaches. She explained the interconnectedness of not just the body, but of the mind and body to allow itself to heal. Even simple stretches were made more powerful and effective through the use of visualization and breathing techniques.
