We have talked about Portal in its best light providing video comfort for a more natural (hopefully) simple way of Izabela communicating with Mamo.Who knows for sure how much it might contribute or is it just, even in its simplicity, a technological challenge that Mamo would not get that much out of?
I looked at my situation, and what nurtures and comforts me is a warm Epsom salt soak in a tub with massaging jets (maybe a bit difficult to provide Mamo), and my bed. The question I would ask is "Does Mamo have a safe secure warm comfy place to chill and let pain subside"?
I love my bed, it is fancy, it inclines, it vibrates, but very importantantly it has a bed size heating pad to provide warmth. If you add a small vibrating column with a decent length timer for use on the bed to vibrate the bed at different speeds - shut off 15 minutes - see link bolded below, there it is, a place of comfort for Mamo. Maybe throw in a small myofascial release vibrating stick, or even the "Stick" I Use.
For use on the body for myofascial release, I believe the "Stick" I Use is a good choice. In my experience, to get the most out of any vibrating device when dealing with chronic pain you need to stay more or less in the moment of its use... so easy it is to stay too long, have the wrong setting or push too hard and actually ending up causing more pain or having NEW sore muscles'
While perhaps a bit more difficult to use, the "Stick" I Use forces you to pay attention which is what you really want to do anyway. This "Stick" only has 2 speeds, the 1st for deeper penetration on spot and the 2nd or slower speed which is best for softer less pressure release, that is better to rub back and forth, still staying 3 to 5 minutes in any one location. In addition, the smooth flatter one side is the most forgiving and best for light massage. On the other side is a beveled wood surface that can penetrate a little deeper with the same pressure, and the sharper 2 sides are most penetrating. The most important advice I can give is do not force anything, moderate pressure for 3-5 minutes and do not get carried away. Chronic pain does not subside quickly. Listen to your body...
Also very important - read the reviews on Amazon - they tend to echo my advice.
Meta Portal Plus is a game changer. It’s added a human element to video calling that you normally wouldn’t get unless you’re in person.
I assume you have a WhatsApp group for the 4 of you? Once we set up your office smart video device, we can test it to my phone WhatsApp via WHL 2023, and you can view my phone and your smart video video image, which should be what your sister, niece and mother see via their WhatsApp. Once your mother is set up in Poland with her smart video device, you uniquely can connect via your office smart video device, but separately or in group, your niece and sister can optionally participate as well, or even see your mother on her smart video device individually.
$250 for 14" - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09FYJFP5Y This remains my recommendation - to spend the $500 to have an excellent base for WHL smart video communications and more importantly the same exact smart video calling unit for both you and your mother to make sure if there are any questions you are both experiencing and troubleshooting the same thing at the same time. A cheaper unit costing $70 versus the $250 will give your mother a poorer viewing experience and more technology challenges. My recommendation is order 2 of the same via Amazon.

Izabela - Here is a text box for you to write a greeting/explanation of this page in Polish for your Mom. Maybe you want to re-write the title above the audio player in Polish and also I can edit the titles of the 2 audios - just give me the titles you want in Polish and I can copy and paste into the audio player. For me, repitition has been important in my learning, so I really like the use of the continuous loop and the convenience of audio for listening.
